The Cusco 188 540A didn't look as strong as the OP's. I ordered a Cusco once but the send me 187 541 A which don't fit.

Rollaboy from with the build thread also run into same problem that they sent 187 541 A which don't fit

 

These will rub on the hood lining and slightly touch the engine cover in 2 locations.

 

I have been checking everyday. No new updates. Status says expected shipping is May 11. We will see what happens then.

Some folks said it would rub the hood lining. I will report back if I do get the bar.

Well, it is already past May 11. Just checked status again. Shipping has been delayed to May 22.

Now wish me luck.

 

That's what read all the time, late and the usual steep price. You would think somebody Stateside would take this demand and make some braces. But no.

 

Sorry guys, I've been chasing an oil leak that playing hide and go seek with me forever. So the engine cover has been off the car, BUT I'll test fit it this weekend and take some pics.

The strut bar has been shipped out today from Japan. It should be here in about 7 days.

Just checked Fedex tracking. The shippment was sent out in Japan on May 15 and now it is in San Jose, CA.

Fedex doesn't deliver on weekends so it will be delivered next Monday. Only takes 4 business days. Too bad Fedex doesn't deliver on Saturdays like UPS.
