Default DRL disable

Is there a way to disable the DRL light on my 2002 SC430?
Thanks.

YES, you do need to go to the dealer and have them reset from your C-Best setting. I had my turned off a year ago.

If you remove the bulb you will no longer have a high beam...

That's what I thought, too.

But, I wasn't 100% sure on it so, I didn't want to post it and get corrected.

The DRL's are the high-beam lights on low power. Same bulb/element. Right?

Right.

So what was the conclusion for this topic. How did you resolve it? If dealer disabled it what was the cost?

Anyone else know the cost for dealer to adjust C-best settings? Wouuld also be cool if we can put the top down with the key buttons from outside the car.

It depends on your relationship with the dealer. Some will do it for free if you are having them do an oil change. Otherwise cost should run about 30 minutes labor, which here costs about $60. That's what local dealer charged me to program a key.

Luxlink allows remote start and drop the top using your current remote

It's worth every penny...and a little bit more.

A few of us here (myself included) have TWO of them (a cold spare on the shelf - plus the one installed in the car).
