Default Goodbye Lexus SC Hello Mercedes E350

Sold my 2006 SC 430 after 7 years and only 22900 miles. Wonderful auto. Just time for something different. Now, if I could only sell my brand new space saver spare tire & wheel that I acquired for the SC after ditching the runflats at 11k.

Does that have adaptive cruise control? If so, can you post a review?

Unfortunately not. I also wanted the ventilated seats but that package was not in this car. The sound system is fantastic. Much better than the ML in my SC 430. It's a Harmon Kardon.(who own ML) true 5.1 surround as well. I joked with the sales guy about not having a cassette deck in the car.

How is the throttle on your new Benz? Is it more sensitive/responsive than your sc? I get a little annoyed by the slow throttle on my sc...

It's got some punch. I have not driven it much yet. I still need to get used to it. Demensions are way different than the SC. Nice having a backup camera and parking sensors which the SC really needs. Definitely faster than the SC but I don't think as silky. More responsive. Nice tone. Love the NAV. Much better than the NAV in my 2012 BMW X3/. Steering has more feel than the Lexus but not as much as the BMW. No wind in the auto with that air cap above the windshield and the windscreen between the rear headrests (which seem to be more effective than the one in the rear of the SC.

Is the MB really faster? I guess it is just your feeling.

The SC430 is rated at 5.9 sec from 0 to 60 mph. The MB cannot break 6 sec or even 6.5 sec. It is probaby more responsive.
