It is certainly worth a shot to take the wheel back off, clean the mating surfaces of the wheel and hub, and then properly install the lug nuts by gradually tightening in a cross-pattern to torque. Since the stock wheels and lug nuts are set up for a flat-bottom lug shoulder (not recessed as in most), I can see in theory how running up one lug nut tight could cause problems you wouldn't see with a recessed wheel/nut setup. Maybe.
