I loved this quote from Autospys.

"The majority of cars being traded in on the G35 are BMW and Audi product (3’s, 5’s, 1.8T’s, S4’s believe it or not!). One dealer actually had a customer trade in an SC430 convertible for a G35. Now don’t get us wrong, we REALLY like the G35…but trading an SC430 for one…must have been an idiot’s convention in town when this happened!"

Keep in mind that G35 is not the only car in that segment to fight with an sc330, there is also the MB clk, slk, the Audi A4 3.0 convertible, TT conv/coupe, and so on...

sorry but the G35 coupe maybe close the same price the SC330 might be at but still wont be in the same league, it is beautiful car but a Infiniti is a infiniti and it cannot be compared with a Lexus. Maybe it will change in the future but not now.

Default hey guys...

of course the G35 coupe isn't in the same class as our SC430...

The G35 coupe is more about performance like BMW and is aiming at that crowd...

Those bashing the G35: Have you bothered to test drive one yet? --the 6-speed that is!!!!

I would NOT trade in my SC430 for a g35 coupe BUT I'd consider the G35 coupe for different reasons... ...but I'm not in the market for ANY vehicle right now as I must behave myself and not purchase anything for 5 more months... ho hum...

Default LOL

..there in lies the rub.. we are broke now... I need to pay off my debt and rebuild...

I'm aiming at keeping the SC430 and Porsche for a while...

My only possible change will be my winter car... We shall see where the finances are in 5 months... .....but I like the looks of that YELLOW Anniversary edition of the GTI for 2003 (20th year in America special edition --- see www.vwvortex.com for photos and details)...

I'm just a car junky I guess...

If I had unlimited funds, I'd have an Enzo Ferrari by now - LOL... and probably a McLaren F1, a Porsche 959, and countless others... ...like if I had money like Jay Leno does, I'd have a big collection and drive something different every day

I need the stock market to start climbing FAST... so I can get more funds! LOL

The best statement I heard so far. Saying a g35 wouldn't compete with a SC 330 is crazy. I guess a BMW 330ci wouldn't compete? Actually I think the old SC look better than the new SC.
