Painted L,
This is ''THE PUFFER', short for Cream Puff. aka 'Garage Queen'. 02 SC430 with '10 RX350 in rear.
It is definitely a taste thang (I spelled it that way), however, it does differentiate your ride.
Mask off way out to the headlights and inside the L.
I used Rustoleum plastic primer first.
Spray paint of Absolutely Red (3P0) that's a zero and not an O.
What do you think?

Well, plak guy, that's a pretty neat idea. It reminds me a little of the thin red horizontal lines VW would put on the front of their GTI models, which I always thought was something on the elegant side (very elegant for Volkswagen).
Perhaps a red emblem on the front of a black SC430 would give the car a bit of flare which is sadly lacking across the Lexus line in general.

Thanks. Upon further consideration, I think that the first try was a bit too much on the fire engine red side, so I had another go at it with a darker red.
If this looks good, I'll go get some paint.

Good conversations going here. It touched a point and all have presented varied options.
As, if everyone like vanilla they never.............
For tfischer, I recommend to go slow and start with only painting the L. It might just be the little touch of color that you are looking for. You can always paint the circle later and I with your dark car, I think the darker red goes better.
My full red works for me because of the red car.
