aren't there at least 250 sc430 owners who check this board? ...and the odds keep getting better the later folks guess since you already know some numbers are gone... ...someone's gotta win right?

You would think so CE with that many members. So far only about 40 guys looked at this thread and less of them guessed a number.
I guess not everyone's into performance upgrades as much as I am.
I bet if the contest was for some gold fender trim or gold lugnuts, I'd be swamped with guesses !!

Would you also like to choose for the guy down the block ? Or maybe you have a friend that has a friend that has a sister who has a cousin that has a roomate that knows a guy that knows another guy in Iowa who has a cow that he bought from a guy who's third cousin has an SC430.

This "game" as you call it was me sending free a $200. item to a valid SC430 owner. It was to the benefit of all. I thought it would be fun. The next time, I'll limit it to adults only.
By the way, the number is very significant. It it didn't exist, there would be a gap between the one before it and the one after.

Can We Try Again?
Now that Larry is giving us hints, such as: "By the way, the number is very significant. It it didn't exist, there would be a gap between the one before it and the one after," I would like the chance to try again, because now I think I know the number.
If not, the next contest to find a new home for the intake should be an essay contest. We will all submit 600 words or less, double spaced, and Larry will chose the winner based on originality and neatness.
This idea, by the way, is original and neat, which should get me off to a 10 point head start.
