Now that's what I call kindred spirits. I was bitten by the bug in college, I can still remember watching trailer cars duel it out at a local non-sanctioned dragstrip we had here. And I firmly believe when you turn on a car it should return the favor .... at any age

I love it. Just that when it came out only older people had it because it cost a lot, but know it can be enjoyed for people all ages. Well maybe not all ages 16+ lol

I'm actually 60 years at heart but I'm stuck in an 18 year old's body pretending that I'm 29 years old.

I bought my SC in 2002 with 17 miles on the odo... when I was 19 y.o. Now, 11 years later (30 y.o. now) and 25k on the odo; WAS and STILL IS my dream car.

I like staring at my SC in the garage as much as the next guy, but I like driving it even more. ShawnOk, how can you own such a magnificent machine and put an average of only 2,300 miles a year on it? My insurance provider is charging me the pleasure car (< 7,500 miles / year) rate since my SC isn't my primary vehicle. Yeah right, I've been driving it 1,000 miles / month so far. I'm 46 years old.

I've been out of the country for 6 years, so my baby's been waiting patiently. I touched down in the US in Feb 2013 and couldn't wait to get behind that wood grain, leather wrapped wheel. You have no idea how much anticipation and excitement I had. Within the last month I've put 2k+ miles on her, including a trip from Oklahoma to Chicago. I love to drive around Chicago; I still get those jaw dropping looks around downtown. Yesterday, I was stopped at a light at Navy Pier while sight seeing with the top down and this little girl stopped in front of my car and yelled, "Mommy! Daddy! I like that car!" to her parents as a massive group of people walked across the cross walk. I couldn't help but to grin from ear to ear.

Congratulations to the lucky teenager in the poll results who owns an SC! This car, new or used, would have significantly exceeded my budget during my teen years, but my oh my, what a very fun ride it would have been in SoCA!

So if your son really thinks about it, is it bad that girls love your car? Could be like walking a puppy!
