what kind of adhesive did you use?
i only let the JB Weld Setup for an hour and it was good to go.
I can't remember whether it was JB Weld or epoxy, but I'm thinking that I was out of JB Weld at the time (still am) and used epoxy instead. It is called 5 minute epoxy but the instructions state to let it cure for 24 hours.
Next time I'll use JB Weld or go and buy some JB Weld to use. (Better yet, hopefully there is no next time!)

anyway, they are exactly the same motor I used on both of my door lock actuators and I ordered the extras just Incase I have another problem but mostly because I might have a local friend run into an issue.
this is such an easy fix...I put the old bad motor on top of the package.
Good afternoon. I changed the actuator motors on a SC430 today. The passangers side is fine. However, I haven't been able to get the driver's side right. After I assembled the door, the car thinks the driver's door is open when it is closed. I disassembled and reassembled several times and checked the driver door fuse. Can't figure it out.

Roll the window down when you're removing the panel. Roll it back up afterwards. And make sure you disconnect the battery. I had the window roll down onmy hand today.
The power door locks work fine but the passangers window button isn't working. The driver's side still controls both windows fine, but the passangers isnt, as if the child window button was on. Any ideas?

Well, you have a few things. Most likely it's just the passenger side switch itself. But it could be the passenger door ECU or a wire in between. Do you know how to use a multimeter?

Yes it is and it is quite simple and cheap. You can watch a five minute video on YouTube and see exactly what you need to do. If you decide to go the route of doing your own testing. Other than that, check ebay for a switch and hope that is all you need. But I will say that it is highly unusual for the passenger side to go out just because it generally gets used the least.
After looking at some pictures of the switch assembly on ebay, it "may" be possible to take it apart and clean and lubricate the contacts also. But I am an electronic tech by trade so things like that dont freak me out. But a small Phillips screwdriver and some alcohol may be all that is needed. Good luck.
Oceans13, did you work on both doors or just the driver's side. It sounds like you had both panels off at one point in time. Was it working prior to removing the panel?
If you had the passenger's door panel off, double check the connector plugging into the switch on that panel to make sure that it is well seated. If it is well seated, check the back of the connector housing to make sure that none of the pins have backed out.
When you had the panel off, did you unplug the window ECU also? If so, do the same plug/pin check on it.
