2nd owner of a 2002 SC430. When purchased the car had tons of aftermarket and performance mods. Larger wheels and tires also. Problem is I'm now needing a front brake job and the rotors are already at the minimum and can't be turned. The rotors are much larger than the stock rotors and the calipers are 4 piston. Shop can't locate replacements. Says Sumitomo is stamped on the rotors and calipers. They said they can change back to the stock rotors and calipers for $800. Any ideas?

 

Sounds like a Japanese bbk,, I tried searching, seems like it was a brand more for nissans :/

they are ls400 brakes i bet.. my ls400 brakes said sumitomo on the back side of it. i think.. or my supra TT brakes said it.. i cant remember.. but i know i have seen it on one of my brakes.. dont change them out for stock ones.. it was an upgrade.. take a picture of it.. im almost sure they are lexus ls400 calipers and rotors..
