Default Timing Belt Replacement at Toyota

I was with a friend at the Toyota dealership today. I asked the head mechanic about the timing belt on my 2002 Sc430. He advised me to replace it . Said they charged $900.00 for the timing belt and all other belts plus the fuel pump ( I think). Does that sound like a good deal. He promised me that it would be cheaper than the Lexus dealer.

I think you mean the water pump find out what parts it includes tensioners belts thermostat serpentine drive belt. etc. The price is good depending on the part list ask for it .

You might be able to get your local Lexus dealer to price match. I did.
