Great looking Egyptian Sand/Ecru. Was real interested in one that color way back when I was SC shopping in 2008 but the dealer was tough to work with so I ended up with a TAP/Ecru.
Congrats and welcome back to the SC fold.

I think as the years passes , the SC will become a classic . I had a 550 SL and I get more compliments from this car than my SL . The SL had so many electronic issues not to mention every time I went to the mechanic, it was $1,000 for any small repairs .

When the SC 1st came out, my understanding is the reviews were not great ( bathtub looking , jellly bean styling etc)
Now that they are no longer made , the clean low miledge ones will continue to hold its value . When I sold my 06 with 77K miles , I virtually got what I paid for the car after putting 5K miles on it before sold it afte 1 year . I only sold my 06 because I really wanted a low clean miledge SC

Congrats, the car looks great. In terms of the color, I was once told at a Lexus dealer that this exterior color is typically more affordable than the other colors on the SC, as you have to really like it to purchase it in that color. But I personally think it looks great.

I was on the fence with Gold as I have own Silver all my life but the SC EP was quite unique .
The later years Gold ( 06 and on ) were different and I probably would not have bought
