Pricing on 2003 SC430
Hey all,
My first post here. I am very close to getting a 2003 SC430 (made in 12/02). It is silver with saddle interior (very nice!). It also has DUNLOP run-flat tires. It has run-flats, spoiler, wheel locks. I got them down to $60,000 flat, which is $3600 below MSRP. Good deal?? I live in Texas.
Also, with my car being made in 12/02, the rear bushings should have been updated, right??
Thanks...BTW, i have learn a great deal about SC430 in a short time from reading the FAQ's thread! Thanks.

Welcome!
Welcome tigmd99!
I also have an '03 Silver/Saddle. Mine was built in 8/02, and I purchased it in 9/02. You're correct... the bushing problem has been resolved. I paid $61k for mine, but I believe demand has slowed somewhat. If I were dealing now, I would try to get them to $58k.
Whatever you work out, you're gonna LOVE the car. Believe me... everytime you sit in that saddle/black interior you're gonna be blown away, and the silver/saddle is a beautiful combo! Ride is a bit jittery on rough roads due to the runflats (mine came w/ Bridgestones), but otherwise the car is a dream.
FYI, my baby is in the Picture Gallery under DSeag2. I had AutoCouture front/rear spoilers installed as a result of pics and information on the ClubLexus message boards. This site is a great source of information. Enjoy!

JUST PURCHASED JAN 25
Just purchased my SC on Jan 25. Red/saddle w/spoiler,trunk mat, wheel locks, gold pkg. Price was 60K even. Best i could do in SE. Car came equipped w/Bridgestone Potenza RF's. After all I have read here, my opinion is that the car rides and handles very well. The tires are quiet, but over bumpy surfaces,ie, RR tracks, the ride is pretty rough. I was considering placing a factory order but was told the waiting time would be at least 120 days, which seems to be verified on this thread. I wanted to factory order to get the conventional tires, but so far I am satisfied with the RF's.. The car is great no squaks, rattles or defects.
I asked about chrome wheels and they told me an exchange service was available at $1200.00.
As for the "Wheel Conversion Kit" both the dealer and Lexus Customer Service told me the kit was not yet available and no price quote. Lexus Customer Service said they would notify me when the covers became available in my area.

I just did a factory order and it took 3 weeks. They just overestimate the delivery time so you will buy what they have on the lot. Paid $60K for mine with the works - runflats, spoiler, mats, wheel locks. By the way, dealer invoice on this configuration is $56,099. Check it on Edmund's if you don't believe me.
