hello guys,
ive searched for the answer and could not find one single post on this subject so im asking
club lexus for advise!
i just bought a 03 sc430, did the tpms mod but now i have to send the car back to the stealership i bought it from to have some repairs done.( the dealership is two states away)
i want to put my stock rims back on my car ( dont trust them with my wheels)
will i have to disconnect my battery to plug in my tpms?
will i have to reset my tpms?
thanks in advance

No. If you plan to move the sensors from your present wheels to the old stock wheels, then there won't be a problem. If the old stock wheels still have the original sensors in them, there shouldn't be any problem, depending on what was done when the new wheels were installed.
The SC430 is equipped to handle two sets of sensors. There is a button in the glove compartment to switch between the two. This is to allow for folks that have winter wheels/tires.
