Viper Smart Start on SC430

Viper Smart Start on SC430
Has anyone installed a Viper Alarm with the Smart Start technology for the Iphone on an SC430? I want an aftermarket alarm I can track from my cell phone. I already have lux link with remote start so I am unsure of what to buy or if I should even buy anything due to the risk of mixing all these devices.

The Viper system I installed in our SC430 is SmartStart capable / ready. It is the Viper 4704V remote start with keyless
entry system. The 4704V has no alarm capabilities. All that would be needed to add SmartStart is the VSM200 SmartStart
module and of course downloading the free app & paying the yearly cell service fee. The 4704V has a one mile range and
two-way command confirmation, so I didn't see the need for cell phone control.
I am not a Directed Electronics dealer, but going by their WEB site info, it appears there are several SmartStart systems.
VSM200 for basic SmartStart - no GPS
VSM250 SmartStart with GPS
There are two other SmartStart systems listed, the VSS3001 and VSS5000, but these are complete systems that include
a remote start w/keyless entry or Alarm / remote start w/keyless entry system and the SmartStart module.
Either of these VSM systems require a Viper* remote start or remote start w/ alarm system to be installed in the vehicle. The
compatible systems listed are 5906, 5904, 5806, 5706, 5704, 5606, 5204, 5104, 4806, 4706, 4704, 4606, 4205, 4204, 4203,
4105, 4104, 4103. The SmartStart module plugs into the Vipers D2D 4 Pin port and communicates with the Viper system
through this connection.
* This also includes similar models from Directed Electronics subsidiaries like Clifford, Python, etc.
I do not believe the LuxLink has this DBI D2D port and therefore can not be used with these SmartStart modules.
