I am wanting to change my Engine Air Filter but could use some help on location of it and any other tips on doing this. If there is anyone here that has step by step instructions or photos, that would be awesome! Thanks

 

STEP ONE: OPEN HOOD!

STEP TWO: FIND AIR BOX. (CIRCLED IN BLACK)


STEP 3 PUSH DOWN TABS (ARROWS IN RED. PROBABLY MORE TABS BEHIND!)

STEP 4. LIFT UP TOP CASE AND REMOVE FILTER THAT LOOKS LIKE THIS. (EXCEPT DIRTY)


STEP5: INSERT NEW FILTER AND FOLLOW STEPS 1-4 IN REVERSE ORDER TO COMPLETE JOB

STEP 6 : DRIVE HAPPY!


Tools Needed:
Hands
Sense of direction
New filter!

 

There you go, can not get simpler than that!

Suggested amendment:


STEP 4a: COMPLETELY CLEAN OUT AIR BOX OF ALL RESIDUE
STEP 7: RECORD SERVICE DETAILS, DATE AND MILEAGE IN SPREADSHEET.
