I'm guessing that color might be called Egyptian Sand Pearl. I nearly got a 2004 or 2005 in that color when I was SC430 shopping back in winter 2008. But it was from a shady looking used car lot in Jersey City and the sales person seemed kind of sleazy so I passed. I still really like this sandy gold color though. Looks great to me. Congrats and welcome to the best owner support forum anywhere that I know of. Let us know what mods you do to the car over time.
First thing to do would be to get rid of the pie-plate rims and get some nicer 5-spokes or even after markets. That will definitely upgrade the look instantly. All the best !

Congrats !
We have a 2002 in the same Egyptian Sand Pearl. Got it last December with 49,700 miles. Paid $12,000. People seem to really like this color because it is different. Seems like 90% of cars around us are silver, black or white. I'm guessing none of those folks have color TV's either.
If you want to know more about your car try the VIN decoder under the Tools tab on the menu at the very top of the forum screen.
Have fun with it!!!
