Sway Bar

Thanks Bacardi11. I spoke with your contact in Canada (Moe). He informed me the sway bars are solid metal @ 28.6mm. They purchase them directly from Japan and ship to Canada as used parts. I think the front sway bar I purchased from Sewell (tubular) will do the job, but not perform as well as a solid core sway bar.

Bacardi11, you mentioned there is also an upgrade stabilizer link kit for the front sway bar. Do you happen to know the manufacture and part number? I also ordered the front sway bar from Moe at JDM in Canada which should arrive next Tuesday. I received my Mevotech MS86836 stabilizer links this afternoon. The part is extra beefy compared to the OEM rear links. The new links will bolt perfectly on the 17mm sway bar opening. For anyone planning to upgrade the front sway bar to the 28.6mm, the shipping weight is 12 lbs and it's a solid metal core. Stay away from Sewell if you are planning on ordering the upgrade front sway bar. The bar has a hollow core, it's 5.5 lbs in shipping weight and it will defeat the purpose of the mod. I'm planning on putting together a parts list like a previous member and post it for any member interested in attempting this mod.

I'm holding off ordering the front links for now. I discovered when I tried to install the rear stabilizer links (MS86836), they're just too beefy and rub up against my rear OEM coils. For know I'm using the OEM rear stabilizer links.
