Front sway bar - vsc/abs lights
Hi all,
My car is at the dealer for ABS/VSC lights...I replaced the two front speed sensors as the ohms tested showed they were failing. A week after getting the car back...the lights are back. Now they have reason to believe it might be my TRD sway bar....problem is that it has been installed for years now.
Does anyone have any insight on this? Also anyone have a picture of what their after market bar looks like so I can show them its installed properly?

I have the Daizen front and rear sway bar. Mine is a 2005 never had any light come on. The rear bar has some attachment near the headlight height sensors. Not sure how they connect that your sway bar is at fault has nothing to do with it at all.

Take a look at this.

A few of the guys with a GS had this problem and discovered the bar was installed upside down.

Confirmed- it was installed upside down. Once my springs settled the clearance was even less...so I guess going over a bump the bar was hitting the sensor's wire, hard enough that it shorted out one of the sensors. Since they didnt identify the problem was the sway the first time they replaced the newly burnt out sensor and flipped the sway bar to its correct position free of charge.
