Tire pressure warning light

After much screwing around I have discovered that disconnecting the two connectors that DarthSid showed in the picture he posted does shut off the tire pressure warning light. I know this because when I turn on the ignition key and all the warning lights come on for a light check, the tire pressure warning light is not on. However once the car is started it comes on and blinks for a minute and then stays on with a solid light until the car is turned off. I'm beginning to wonder if when Lexus upgraded the design in 2006 they added another function to the tire pressure warning light or if those of you who have disconnected the warning light may not have run into this problem as of yet. Please help me out if you have any insight into my situation as I have made an appointment with my Lexus dealer for next Thursday as I also need a New York inspection. I really would like to know what I'm dealing with before taking it in. Thanks for all your help.

LovesLexus,
I'm not sure how the VSC relates to the Tire Pressure Warning Light. Does the procedure that you linked also work for resetting the Tire Pessure Warning Light? As I mentioned, unplugging the connectors does disable the warning light during the system check bethe ignition is activated. After ignition it comes on blinking for a minute and then stays on solid. I have an appointment with the dealer tomorrow for a look see and a NY inspection so I will report my findings after I get home.
