I'm looking to replace the entire ML audio system (head unit, amp, speakers and all). I'm leaning towards the Rockford Fosgate T2652-S component speakers for the front. Their website lists the mounting depth for the woofer at 2.51", which should be enough, according to all the threads I searched here. Of course, the appropriate adapter plate (6.5" to 6"x9") will be necessary. Does anyone see any problem with this?
