hello, just took the SC this afternoon.
I was looking for a cabrio for my middle age crisis and indeed the SC was on my target since long.
I'm not a fun of performance but sinuosity of the SC always fascinated me... the forum has done the rest. that's a my2007 pearl white with beige interior, imported from US, 33k miles.
I live in Luxembourg, a tiny country in the earth of Europe that I'm sure the most of your will not even know.
I do not think I'll made any big changes but something is already in the radar
- second master key
- rear camera and player
- gps update
thanks to you all for the precious info I got helping me on the right choice

Welcome and congratulations. Many of us do know of Luxembourg. I notice you have side repeaters on your fenders. Not required or optioned on a NA car. How long ago was yours imported? Must have been a euro spec add on?

Welcome. Nice looking SC430. I know where LUX is... I go to Lux every other week. Lux, Lux is forty miles from my house. It is a very beautiful city. In the summer I live on the Mosel in Bernkastel, DE. The reason I go to Lux is to Tank because the Benz is about 22 cents a liter cheaper. In other words the gas is about $1.10 cheaper a gallon in Lux compared to Germany. In that car you will enjoy driving the autobahn at 240kph...LOL I am curious as to why you chose the Grappa name?

I have no idea if that's a EU requirement but the car was registered to German TUV on July this year. The rear bumper hosts a small rectangular number plate and I prefer this to the EU model with the two red lights on the side. I decided to leave it as in my country such small plate are available but I'll probably need a frame for this. I hey ave me an appointment for the registration by the end of the month and at the moment I'm driving with the temporarily export plate, you get this in Germany for around 200EUR including insurance and it is valid for one month.

if you are still in the area and you do not mind I would really like to understand if my gps is US locked or not. I read about on the forum and I guess the best test I could do is loading a EU dvd set. Maybe we can go for a beer and schnitzel ?
