Spark Plug tube seal removal and installation
I found oil on my spark plugs. A chat with the guy at advance auto parks indicated this is because my spark plugs tube seals are leaking. After some internet research I found a 'seal removal tool' that looks like it may be appropriate for removing the seals. I guess the impact of the oil on the plug is reduced mpg?
Has anyone successfully replaced these seals? Is it difficult? What took did you use and how did you prevent debris from dropping in there as you were digging for the seal? Lastly, what are the risks of the DIY job?

I'm also noticing a little oil in a few plug wells and suspect tube seals. Anyone changed these? Pictures? I'm used to old engine designs where the plug screws right into the head without passing through valve covers etc, unlike newer designs using coil-packs and so on.

I'm positive there is a tool for this without having to remove the valve cover (what a pain ). I'm going to advance auto today to verify and I will let you know! Thanks!!
