Yes. DRL are in the C-Best or LPS setting and Techstream can disable them. This post https://www.clublexus.com/forums/mai...d-2002-sc.html #6

I have used TechStream many times...I too turned off the DRL on my 2002 and setup up many of the other settings. I also used it to program keys and TPMS sensors. Very easy process.

here is a write up on programming TPMS sensors with TechStream

that is a really good price! It might take three weeks to arrive but once you get it loaded and operational, you will be very happy!

Can anyone confirm if this tool can program aftermarket keys as well, transmitter? I understand that there have been a few people mention the ability to program keys, but I'm assuming they just mean the immobilizer only. Can someone confirm if this can program the transmitter as well (the ability to lock and unlock the car via key fob)?

I am attempting to program this type of key's transmitter and I've tried to use the in car steps to program the key with no avail, ie.. open door, insert key, remove key, cycle the door lock/unlock 5 times, etc.. I was able to successfully program the immobilizer so the car starts with this key, but I can't get the key to lock and unlock the car.

If you followed these instructions and it didn't work, I am leery if it will ever work (because the remote is not compatible with our cars (no matter what the ad says)). Techstream is really great to have, but I don't know if it would be worth the time and expense just to program a Key Fob.

Remote Programming
1. Close and lock all doors. Unlock and open drivers door.
2. Put key into ignition and remove TWO TIMES.
3. Close and open the drivers door TWO TIMES.
4. Put key into the ignition and remove.
5. Close and open the drivers door two times.
6. Put key into the ignition. Close the drivers door.
7. Turn ignition ON then OFF ONE TIME- this will put the car in ADD mode for your remote. (Turning the ignition ON then OFF TWO TIMES will ADD the remote but will erase all existing remotes.)
8. Remove the key from the ignition. The door locks will cycle one time (or two if you are erasing) . On the REMOTE press and hold the LOCK and the UNLOCK button for 2 seconds. On the REMOTE press the LOCK button for one second.

AT THIS POINT, the locks should cycle by themselves ONE time. This means the procedure was accepted. IF the locks cycle twice it has failed. IF this happens you must start over. Hold the remotes higher up for better reception

9. Open and close the drivers door. Put key in ignition and pull out. This will end
programming.

one other noteworthy item of interest.
If I remember correctly only four keys can be programmed. You must use Techstream to remove the other keys.

My '06 only came with 2 Master keys (previous owner misplaced the other keys). I want to add a 3rd Master key. In Techstream, do I have to delete all the keys and then reprogram the current 2 plus program the new Master key? Or can I just delete the card key and add the new key in its spot? (I have a fear of an issue occurring and I end up with no working keys.)

Bob, you can not delete ALL the keys. You will need a master key to delete the keys and you can not delete the master key itself. So you always will have at least one working key. As I understand, you can programmed and designate two master keys, anything after that will be designated as sub keys. You can have total 4 keys in the system.
