Side Marker Light Upgrade for $2.00
I read a lot of upgrades costing hundreds of dollars for the ugly side mark lights front and rear.
There is a great "youtube" video Properly Tint Tail Lights & Side Markers explaining how to do this, tried it last night, love it.
On my dark colored SC it looks great, on a light car color I might have used mirror tint,,your call.
There is a bunch of snow outside so I didn't roll the car onto drive, I apologize for the poor quality of the pics.

If you go to ebay and type "vinyl tint," there's a company called RTints that I used. They have different sizes, darkness levels (or VLT%), and different finishes (gloss vs matte). I recommend cutting an approx piece to cover the light, clean the marker with alcohol, then trim the excess using a hobby knife. Additionally, you can then use a heat gun for the edges but it's not necessary. If you want a true professional job you can completely remove the markers and cover them. I took this path. I would also recommend doing this mod in a garage or somewhere warm. Cold temp and vinyl are not the best combination.
