Default Sewell Parts

Just thought I would say, called the folks at Sewell...great to work with. Same good price, I think. Either way, very helpful on the phone. Thanks for the follow on info on this!

Just ordered the Front Door Weathers strips from Sewell Parts. Talked to Terry - was a great help and gave the the best price he could and $10 shipping. I don't know yet how good the price was but it's nice to talk to someone knowlegable.

I also recently ordered a part from L-Parts and had a good price and experience as well.

I just got off the phone with Sewell Lexus and they were pretty helpful. Although they couldn't match the prices with the clublexus discount, their prices were still good.

I got front rotors and front and rear brake pads. It was only 14 dollars more than lexuspartsnow and a lot less than some of the other sites posted on this thread. The other sites charges 18 per rotor for shipping. I went head and bought it at Sewell because they have been good to me since day one and 14 extra dollars isn't going to break my bank.

I recently ordered by phone also and the ClubLexus discount is still available.

I was told that Sewell spent lots of money on a new website design and then decided not to go through with it and then decided to bail out of the online parts business rather than use their old website. Made no logical sense, but that's their story and they are sticking to it. I think it had something to do with the franchise agreement with Lexus, but that's just a guess.

Default Sewell Replacement

If you were a Sewell user then you will agree that Sewell parts on line closing is one of the worse things that could have happened to us SC owners. Has anyone found a company out there that has the same competitive pricing that Sewell had. Crazy I know but I sure miss Sewell.

Definitely just as good as Sewell -- the company is Sewell!

They have removed their online presence, but still do everything just now by phone. Same great advice, same great service, same CL discount.

The guy explained to me why they are not online anymore (something along the lines of they were developing a new website that ended up costing to much) but it made no sense because they could have just stuck with the old site. My personal guess is that it had something to do with their franchise agreement and marketing in other dealers areas.

They are still doing business...Below is a quote from Sewell.

We are trying to assure the CL community that we are still here for business, but we don't have the luxury of our website. We can still price parts and accessories for CL members that make a very good deal and with regards to cheaper shipping, we can get pretty close to where we were before. Just call 214-353-2850 for pricing and part information.

Thanks,
Sewell Parts Team

I guess it really depends who you talk to over the phone, tried to order the ISF 2008 rear sway bar and was quoted for $136 and I ask if they still give discounts for CL member and he said no, not anymore. I ended up getting the item from parts.com for $92.

Use search to find the thread from Bacardi about that. Website is gone but they are still in business via email or call. Not same discount but still good with same good service.
