My navigation system will not read my disc are eject it. System makes attempt but reads there is no disc. I tried putting my old disc in the system thinking my latest disc was stolen during a service visit but I can not put another disc in leading me to believe my disc is still in the player. Is there an eject override button are other solution other than replacement. Have not been to dealer yet.

Welcome to the forum!
Sorry to hear about your problem.
In short either the optical sensor is dirty or went bad. If that is not it then the motor that spins the DVD is bad.

I realize that this is a stupid question (& please don't take offense) but where are you attempting to eject the disk from: inside the vehicle or in the trunk? (Just in case: There is a little cover for the Navigation disk player in the trunk that you remove to gain access to the eject button.) The DVD player in the cab is the wrong place.
