Default oil Leak

I garage my SC430 each night. I rarely see the space where the car is parked in the garage without the SC430 in it. However, I did see it today and there is oil. I believe it has been accumulating over a few weeks and not flowing out overnight, thus it would appear to be a slow leak. There is a good bit of oil leaked out. Any ideas of what it might be or where to start investigating?

Most probable area will be the valve covers! Tighten the bolts to 10 ft/lbs, or 120 in/lbs.

You will most likely find them hand tight.

Let us know!

I second Bgw70!! those valve cover bolts are notorious for backing out and causing oil to spew..

..you might check the oil filter also, especially if the oil has been changed recently
