Default Model Year (in)compatibilities?

Hello, All. Long time lurker, first time poster.

Short Background: I bought year ago. I later bought a wrecked low-mileage SC430 with the plan to use the body from the flood car (aka "fishbowl") to host the powertrain and electronics from the wreck. My understanding from the Bill of Sale was that the wreck was also a 2004. It's not - it's a 2006.

I wasn't fearing any problems. Then I learned that the t the gauge bezel is different.

I have the wrecked car totally stripped (shell is gone to the scrapyard). I plan on using the wiring harnesses from the fishbowl, as swapping them out is a royal pain.

Anyone have any insight into gotchas that might be in store for me?

Stereo is different (but looks the same) 06+ has Bluetooth, among other differences.

Transmission is different (6-speed in the 06+ and 5-speed in the 02-04s). Different shifter lever and plate, too.

Gauge cluster is different

Navigation is a different generation

Suspension is different

Taillights are different (06+ has LED tails, 02-04 are incandescents)

Headlights are different (06+ has the adaptive headlight system (lights turn with the steering wheel))

Front bumper is different (to accommodate the different headlights)

That's what I can think of off the top of my head.

And I agree with Bacardi1...good luck!
