Default Windshield washer nozzle setting

The water stream from the windshield washers on my 2004 SC430 squirts too high.
The single stream goes onto the roof and the lower double stream just barely touches the windshield at the top. Once needed to replace the hood and that has been the condition ever since that replacement was made.
Does anyone know if there is a way to adjust the little nozzles?

They're actually little ***** with a hole in them. If you stick a pin in the hole your can rotate the ball which will change where the spray hits. It'll be a bit of trial and error but pretty quick & easy.

Default Thanks

Hey, DiggerJim:
That worked. I used a "push pin" the kind sometimes used to stick onto a bulletin board.
Gave me better control and easier to see how much I was moving the little spray *****.
With six streams to adjust I actually ran out of water once.
Now each spray hits exactly correct.
Thanks.
Bob

Great. I use one of my wife's pins with a ball on the end. Kind of like moving a flight stick. It is easier if someone is inside operating the wiper/washer. Also, the longer pin allows you to kind of sight along it once you get one done, it's easier to match the next one. But the push pin does let you get a nice grip on that large plastic end piece.

Glad it worked for you.

LoL, there is actually an alignment procedure in the SC service manual.

It is also a good idea to take them off and clean out all of the accumulated dirt. Soaking, then compressed air into each nozzle worked great for them.
