Everything just arrived, it is my wife's car and everything is her birthday present. I think it would be a better present if she received it installed.

Helo, did you happen to purchase any of the extra cables for Apple or Android?

I didn't. The head comes with a fairly short USB lead and I just plug either a Lightning or micro USB (for my Mophie case) into it. I routed it so it just sticks out under where the carpet meets the center console.

I am planning to run the little RCA plug and the USB extension cables to the lower, inside part of the console. I believe I may need to drill a hole. If that is the case, I will pick up a rubber plug at Lowes.

I ended up buying a Kuda and then picked up a SlipGrip custom fitted mount for the iPhone 6 with Mophie and mounted it to it on the side where I ran the USB Cable out. The phone fits into the mount like a glove and I just plug the cable into the bottom of the Mophie.

bgw70,

This is the thingamabob I was talking about in my thread. Sounds like you could use one!

Do you still use the controller on the steering wheel after the switch of decks?

Yes, the BeatSonic is the interface, very close to plug and play.

The up/down volume functions along with the set button, which sets a preprogrammed volume level, the other arrow buttons are a fader control, front/rear.

I know what BeatSonic does for me but I am not familiar with the Vaistech.

What does the Vaistech provide?

Well, when i skimmed through both products, it essentially provides the same thing. The difference would be in the pricing.

Hows the connectivity of the BeatSonic to electronic devices? Are there issues on compatibility?

I had no issues with the BeatSonic and it was plug and play. The directions are well written.
This BeatSonic model is designed for the SC430

For those of you running the Pioneer AVH-X5700BHS
The Waze GPS app now works on the screen!
I was able to listen to Iheart music and run the Waze app at the same time!
