Default Photo Request

I was wondering if anyone out there with a digital camera can do me a favor.

I need to get a high quality picture of the SC430 stereo head unit with the wood cover open.

The reason for this request is that I have had my unit replaced and this is the second time that the unit will not sit straight in the bracket there is a wide gap on the top left of the silver head unit. I want to compare it to others out there and don't really feel like going from dealer to dealer asking if I can look at the interior of each car.

I know that before I had the unit replaced it sat nice and level in the dash area. Thanks very much I really appreciate it.

You can email the picture to me, its in my profile or you can send a personal message...

Thanks Ceboyd,
As of yet no other offers than from you so I will wait till you roll yours out for the summer, I just took ours out this Monday, had it at the dealer to deal with a few things including the new bushings the 3rd set and the radio as I mentioned. Nice to ditch the SUV for the spring/summer/fall and be back behind the wheel of the LEX....Enjoy

Default Excuse to play with my newest toy

I'll try to take a few shots for you this weekend. Last week I got a new Canon Digital SLR (model 10D) and have been working too much to have time to "play." Tell me what you mean when you say "high quality," as the largest size JPEG file on this camera would be in the range of 6mb to 10mb per shot. I suspect your ISP doesn't want something that large coming to you.

I'll try to get something sent to you Saturday or Sunday this weekend.

P.S. Reading posts about you folks putting cars in and out of storage makes me once again appreciate my Florida residence!!

Default Check the Photo Gallery

DropTop430, I believe there is a photo of exactly what you're looking for in the first page of the photo gallery. Someone posted it to show their new satellite radio installation. It is a large picture of the stereo head unit with the wood cover open. May be exactly what you need.

Thanks Larry. So far I have been impreesed with the detail in the new Pix. Quite a lot more camera than my G2.

Oops - need to keep on topic before the "Big G" sets us straight: I'll post some SC430 pix when I get a chance.

Thanks for the help everyone,
Those two pictures are pretty good and confirm what I thought, mine is sloped on the lest side. If someone else wants to take another picture. I would really like a picture of the unit from a straight on angle looking directly at it so I can see that all is level aross the top of the radio. Doesn't have to be that big just a nice clear close up.
Thanks to all that have helped out...

Oh yeah ... Larry says "great choice" only because he works for Canon. Last time I saw Larry with a camera he was looking through the lens and couldn't understand why everything was so small.

Steve,

Send me an e-mail with what you are specifically looking for. (lgiglio@cusa.canon.com) All I know about our products is that we make GREAT ones. I handle all the companies real estate, construction, security and facilities management for North America. Ed's right, I wouldn't know one side of a camera from the other.........I've been with Canon for 25 years and still don't know how to take and post a digital photo ( I sure can put up a great building though !)

Sheesh, Larry, you disappoint me. I expected a huge "BITE ME, Ed"

You've taken a ton of digital photos and you've posted some of them.
