Lots of posts regarding the buying of a donut tire and rim for the SC430. I still have run flats on my wife's car, but planning to buy some Conti's or Michelins in the very near future. I have bid on a couple spare tires/rim on ebay but was outbid at $240.00 on the last auction. I know some have gone to a Mazda or Camry spare rim/tire for less money but this is what I purchased today for my spare. I bought a Lexus factory rim #42611-24430 from MyLparts.com for $105.60 +$10.00 shipping. I looked on ebay under tire size " T145/70/17" and found a company that sells a new tire for $79.99 with shipping. Im not a tire expert but this tire has a max load of 2094lbs and should be fine for its limited use. So for $195.59 and about $7.00 to mount and balance I feel like a got a fair deal and won't worry on a road trip.
