Recently purchased a red 2002 sc430 good condition. Only thing missing is the top chrome trim piece of the grill. You know the one top piece thats attached to the hood separate from the grill itself when you lift the hood? hard to explain but hoping someone can help me out on know whats that trim piece called or even better a part number. THANKS!

That should be it. They normally get trashed due to rock chips, I have replaced mine once. For $60 (that’s how much I paid for) worth every cent.

You need to check if the hardware is there, otherwise get the hardware...

I purchased from this company last month. Brand new Lexus part. $65 shipped. You also need the retaining hardware (nuts)

Mandy, did the link to eBay show up for you?

If not, that is okay! It was a vendor on eBay, the name is, genuinepartswh

This vendor is out of California. How do these California dealers prices beat everyone else in the country? Or maybe I am not checking enough places!

I have bought parts from Texas, CA and Chicago dealers. Just takes more time to arrive. Price wise, can not really tell how they beat each other. Funny thing is that none of the Georgia dealers can beat these out of state places. Weird.

My local Lexus parts guy said he cannot compete with them because they have such a huge volume of sales and that allows those dealers to purchase the parts cheaper from the Lexus distributor.
