Taking the intake manifold off was not hard, just requires a lot of things on top to be disconnected (if i was to do it myself next time i would be able to within max 2).. throttle body disconnected, and hoses above it on manifold pulled off, air intake box with hoses detached. the housing holding the chunk of wire is mounted to the intake so need to remove that.. and small brackets here and there.. OH and fuel line connected to manifold top right corner... manifold needed to be pulled out toward the passenger side of car then up (you will need two people for this process)

I was talking about replacing the harness to the knock sensors but can't find the end where the actual plug is located. Not the knock sensor side but the wire harness side.

Isn't it in the little white box?

If not, do you have your new wire harness handy? You can lay the new one over the old one and it should show you where the end is located. (Or at least limit the area you need to look in)

It seems you need to solder in some later models as the entire harness is one unit (engine harness).
