Default Indexing Spark Plugs

Anyone ever index spark plugs? Does this really work? Which direction does the gap align? Towards the fuel injector??

I was wondering that too. I did note that the summit guy said you may gain one HP and that really made me wonder if it was worth the time.

I think it would benefit your gas mileage, but it's more true with the old carburetor cars than nowadays fuel injected computer controlled knock sensors cars of today.
