fog light indicator light
today I turned on the fog light the first time, then I notice there is no fog light indicator light in the instrument cluster on my 02 SC. this is the first car that I own that has fog light but no fog light indicator light, is that kinda strange? anyone has the same thought?

My Outback has a fog light indicator light which is part of the fog light switch which is the size of a TV tray.
I kinda like the way that sentence goes.
Okay, say the following out loud just once ... "Westwood Woodwind Quintet" (an actual group, by the way, much to the dismay of classical DJs).

I didn't know there are more cars that didn't have fog light indicator lights...
I just found out my mom's GX470 doesn't have a indicator light either, I am very sure my dad's LS430 does have a fog light indicator light in the instrument cluster.
I had owned BMWs and Mercedes' before, even there is no fog light indicator light in the instrument cluster but there is still indictator light on the headlight rotary switch for the German car.

I knew I did not have a fog light "on" indicator, but I have an "on" indicator on the switch, and I am trying to figure out what the absolutely worst thing is that could happen if I left on the fog lights without knowing it, and I am stumped.
In fact, once when driving through the mountains in fog, I tried all kinds of combinations with the lights, and could see no real difference due to the fog lights.
I think they are cosmetic.

Actually, it's a combination.
If the fog light switch is on, and the headlights are on (which does have an indicator),
then the fog lights will be on. Otherwise, there's no (legal, as-designed) way to have
the fog lights on when the headlights are not.
That's probably why they didn't include an indicator.
