Daily driving......
I saw a thread on the SC3/4 forum about daily drivers and wondered what you all daily.
The SC430 is a nice car but here on the east coast, you can only drive it half of the year if you want to put the top down. I've also seen more and more modified SC's here so what do you all daily if not your SC ?

Here in Rochester NY, living on the shores of beautiful Lake Ontario summer is so short that if you blink you could miss it. My SC430 is in storage from November 1 to May 1. I know, it sucks. Whifes daily driver is a Honda Fit. My Daily driver is a Tyota Sciena.

We live just above NYC, so the winters can be brutal with plenty of road salt. The SC430 is garaged for the winter.
The wife uses the SC430 as a daily driver in the summer, unless it's really nasty with rain and no chance of putting the top down. On those wet summer days and during the winter she uses the RAV4. Can't beat AWD and snow tires.
I alternate between a Honda Accord and a Toyota Sienna w/AWD. If I'm a good boy, I get to drive the SC430 when we go out to dinner. Power mode with traction control off.

Either the SC or the LS600 - weather doesn't bother me (snows on all 4 wheels during the winter). I'm in northern CT so we get (got) snow but I grew up with RWD cars and drove in the snow all the time, not going to be scared by it now. I even take the top down on the occasional 50 degree days in January
The 600 is for when I know I'm going to be driving other folks or may need to stop to pick up some larger items. I'm probably 60/40 LS vs SC.

SC430 as a daily driver, could not be happier. And have a set of Falken snow tires for the coldest months if really needed. Or since the MBZ has its own set of snows, if I really need to head out in tough winter conditions, I would use the MBZ on Blizzaks with AWD for a trip say into the mountains.

Daily driver is the RX330. Weekend is split between the SC430 and the MX-5. More of the SC though.

I daily my sc because its the only thing I own. But I live in Las Vegas now so all I have to do is make sure I'm off the roads the 5 times a year that we get intense flash floods here. But if i lived on the east coast I'd buy another Audi I had a TT roadster last and it was unstoppable.. rain, snow, black ice, whatever. Also the stability control was much more advanced than the lex. Miss that car so much..
I have a bad feeling about this winter......
