That would make sense. Since he had an A/C guy look at the system, the A/C guy would be more likely to keep the pressure in spec, but not look at an adjoining system like cooling fans.

Yes +1 on the cooling fans. They come on as soon as you turn the ac on, even with the engine stone cold. If they don't come on the computer turns off the ac.
