I need to check the fuel pressure to verify if my fuel pump is functioning. Do you all know the procedure and PSI?
Assume that I open the valve on fuel rail with engine off, then connect pressure tester kit, put key in ignition to "on" position, then pump up to specified PSI???

Fuel pressure should around 45-50psi at idle
I believe you will need a banjo bolt adapter to tap into the fuel system.
Here is what I found out. you will need a banjo fitting with a longer bolt to fit the fuel rail at the bacvk of the dr side. And a fuel pressure gauge to go onto it.There are two things you are checking here, the fuel pump and the fuel pressure regulator. wWith the gauge hooked up and the key turned to the on position #1, you should have 37-45 PSI. then #2 with the car started you should have about 5 PSI less. Then disconnect the vac line to the regulator #3. you should have 37-45PSI running and a 5 PSI drop when reconected. When the engine is turned wait 5 minutes and look at the gauge again#4 you should have 21 PSI.
#1.....replace fuel pump
#2.....replace fuel pressure reg.
#3.....everything is ok
#4.....replace the fuel pump
good luck
