Hi Everyone,

I bought a used sc430 with aftermarket head unit. I noticed that the GPS has no audio and the subwoofer in the backseat doesn't work. Can someone please explain what is going on and how can I fix this issue? maybe they by passed the stock amp when installing the aftermarket head unit? anyone here with aftermarket head unit that still has audio for GPS and a working stock subwoofer? The car doesn't have aftermarket amps.

I would guess and say someone put in the aftermarket head unit and hand wired it bypassing the stock amp which is connected to the sub and GPS unit.

The only way to know for sure is to pull the radio and see what was done. If they didn't hack up the wiring too bad, you might be able to put it back like it was and connect a Beatsonic interface and get everything working again provided the amp/sub/GPS is intact.
