Not sure, but with that price, I would contact them or Bon who said 75% or the best price you could find...

Looking at LexusPartsNow, where they actually stock OEM and I see they're 165 each. So 125 and I'll pay the shipping. They're new in the box. I don't want to violate club rules here, so please address any further questions by PM to me.

The car still has the same wobble in the wheel over certain bumps!!! Everything else on suspension is in excellent shape, tech went over it all with me in the air, nothing else worn. I seriously cant tell a difference with the rack bushings at all and nothing with the lower control arms except maybe at very low speed the car feels very solid, but once you get going and hit a bump, the wobble is back.

I also put brand new Continentals on it, but no change.

I could see a slight seepage from front shock, could this wobble be coming from front shocks? I am feeling like I want to sell it already, I cant drive something that is not correct, and I cant get it right after spending $1,500.

I see others say 06 no issues, is that the case, 06 does not have the wobble/shake in wheel? This is all with top up as well.
I had an almost identical experience with my 2002 SC! My suspension also seemed to be in absolutely perfect condition, and only had 44K miles. The bump-steer was driving me crazy, and I went down much of the same path you've tried. I replaced my tires, replaced the #2 Caster Arms, and was about to try the steering rack bushings. I kept reading more and more about the steering geometry problems with the SCs, and how many of the early model cars exhibited this steering wheel shake no matter how new the suspension was.

I finally just gave up and tracked down a 2006 SC with 18K miles for a decent price in Ok City. I hated to "throw in the towel" on my 2002, because it truly was a beautifully maintained early SC, but I can say that I have zero bump-steer with my 2006, and the ride is smooth as silk all the way up to 100 (as far as I've taken it). I realize my post is not very encouraging, but I also read lots of stories about SC owners throwing lots of money at their suspensions but winding up unsatisfied with the results... Good luck!

my two cents, I think you should consider Bon's offer. That is a really good deal for brand new OEM shocks!

and like Rik said, the suspension was changed in 2006 for a smoother ride.
new dampeners will certainly improve what you feel now but it won't be 2006-2010.

You might call steve at luxury motorworks on Monrovia, ca. He built the luxlink kit.

something about body / suspension mounts on 02's? He mentioned it in passing.

jerrick at meisters mentioned upper control arm bushings to me on the phone?

My tech said to get preloaded struts, so I was trying to find those as he will do the job after hours for me but cant compress springs I guess.

I am really beginning to think the same thing, this is how these cars are unless somebody can tell me they have 02-05 car that does not bump steer??

I will call Steve and see what he says, thanks for that info.

06 may be my next hunt!

i don't have bump steer, my car is very solid and the faster I drive the more solid it is...but I went with D2 coilovers and this made the car, NOT what you want.

I don't think that I have bump-steer and I have a 2002 with 110k miles with the original equipment.

Ok, I cant remember which of you said do front struts first before you do all kinds of suspension work, but they were right!!! I had the new front OEM KYB's installed today and aligned and its perfect, no bump-steer at all, it drives amazing!!! The shocks were original and you could push down on them with your hand so easily, they were completely worn out causing my tires to jump around when I hit a bump, its all fixed and I love the car now, thanks to everyone!

That's great news foreste. I'm glad to hear that you got the problem resolved. (Remind me what KYB stands for.)

Kayaba Industries KYB brand shocks. They are often the source for Japanese OEM shocks.
