Maintenance for 2007 sc 430 with 30,000 miles
I am a new member who just purchased a 2007 SC 430 with 30,000 miles. I was wondering if there is any specific maintenance I should do. Do I need to replace the timing belt/water pump with only 30,000 miles, or is the age of vehicle more important to make these repairs? Thanks for any advice. Also the car was operated in Arizona the entire life of the vehicle so was in a very dry climate.I have owned a 2002 SC 430 which I sold four years ago and missed it so had to find another. Trying to do all the right things for this beauty so I can keep her always.

Welcome to the forum 30API and congratulations on re-entering the SC430 ownership group. (You aren't the first to have sold one off only to later decide that you still wanted one and bought another!)

Welcome back. I also sold my 2002 SC430 and after 3 years missed it so I bought a 2006 as my daily driver. Gotta just love these cars. IMHO, I would wait the full 9 years for the timing belt and maybe push it to 10 years with your mileage. I would flush the radiator every 3 years to make sure it has fresh lubricants in it to stretch the life of the water pump.
