I drive a green/saddle, while my brother drives a blue/ecru (I bought mine first....one drive of my new car and he was hooked). I love the saddle interior, as much for the leather (and I agree that it can at times be a tad too "orange") as the dark wood trim. Alternatively, while I think the ecru leather is OK, I really can't stand the sight of the light wood trim. Just too feminine in my opinion. I was one of those people that decided upon an interior first and then looked around for the exterior color to match.

I agree that the saddle looks a bit better with the green than with the blue exterior, but I really like the blue the more I see it from the outside (I can't stand the interior of my brother's SC for reasons mentioned above). Both exterior colors are equally "rare" if that's important to you, the blue/saddle even more so (since so many of them are offered with the ecru). The blue just looks more stunningly blue more often, while the midnight green looks phenomenal in direct light (sun or artificial) but is awfully "black" the rest of the time. I guess if I had to do it over again, I would have held out for a blue/saddle, with green/saddle my second choice.

I love the Saddle myself.. and can't stand the ecru... BUT have you considered black? I originally wanted Saddle with my red but after seeing the black in person, it just looked so classy with the red that I was hooked!!!!

...and black interior is MUCH easier to keep clean

Actually, it's not that black is easier to keep clean, it's just that you can't tell where the dirt is.

You are absolutely right...

But the way I look at it, what I don't see, won't hurt me (or bother me)

..and I'd rather be driving and enjoying
