Many of you have Naviks or Navtool for backup, so why not mirror the screen of your iPhone/android via the HDMI input?

Did you get that on Amazon Gman? Do you think it would support the 13 pro? The 13 pro is somewhat heavy. I can't imagine a magnet that would hold it while going over a bump. If the magnet was strong enough to hold it, I'd be concerned with it interfering with the electronics or the the screen of the phone (hopefully all non-issues).

Yes, Amazon. The adhesive is super strong so is the magnet. It holds my my wife mini IPad believe it or not. iPhone 13 will be fine. No, the magnet will not affects the electronics.

My Naviks is in the trunk. There is a second video input on the Naviks but I don’t want to run the cable from the back to the front, besides IPhone map is fine. I have Bluetooth interface for YouTube musics so I am happy as is.

May i ask Gents, is all that really necessary?

Are you driving to places that you have never been to before so often that you need all that tech?

I couldnt stand having to connect all that stuff for what advantage i wonder?

Whatever floats your boat i guess.

Amen and amen. I had a hard time transitioning from paper maps but my wife died in the pandemic so I lost the navigator. Cant count the times my GPS has gotten me to an open field that the map would have avoided....LOL But I carry the phone for back up. ONLY!! Not going to tear up my car for a few stupid mistakes.

Well perhaps I am a little more fortunate. I rarely see any police around here - Southern Queensland.

I dont carry the moby with me when I am out. The moby has no apps on it. I wouldnt know Waze from Daze.

I am a fairly basic man. But, I do wash my loin cloth regularly.

Before I retired, I was an driving instructors. Without phone maps or NAV systems, I could not do my job efficiently. Paper map is probably ok but it will take so much time. I am glad that I live in this era.

If this message addressing to me, the answer is none. I still have the OEM stereo. Everything I do is on my phone: maps, music and videos on YouTube, etc...

Are you ever worried you may someday want to remove the mount from your dash, and it will mare the finish?

I have another worry that likely won't be an issue for most. I upgraded recently from a small, light iPhone SE to a large, heavy 13 pro. I already have an issue with how heavy it feels in my pocket, so, I worry adding a metal plate to the case will only make it worse. Maybe I should look for a cradle that doesn't require adding weight to the phone. Anyone using a cradle they like?
