Seems to me that different rims work for different coloured SCs. The deeper coloured vehicles seem to cater to a range of rims that make the vehicle look good. The silver and white vehicles not so much.

All a function of taste. Smart and subtle - thats the style i like - just like me! wahahahahaa!

Yes, to each his own. Fun fact: Enkei manufactures the G-spiders for Lexus!

Changed rear differential fluid (oem oil and magnetic plug very clean for 152k miles) 😁. then checked and cleaned the cabin air filter. Lastly, I updated the maintenance records in my "CarFax" app on Android.
I also plan on washing her later. All 150k mile services are done. Next big one is the Timing belt, etc. etc. Other than that, nothing but regular oil changes for awhile. Yea!

Dennis, do you run any fuel cleaner through that?

I only put premium in my bugger and fuel cleaner. Took the head off a couple of weeks ago. Clean as a whistle. Mechanic put the cleanliness down to the fuel cleaner.

Maybe once every 5000 miles I will run a bottle of injector cleaner through it. Always use premium in both my 2010 LS460L and the 2006 SC430.

Question for all: I can wash our 04 SC weekly and put in garage. By week's end, it's loaded with dust again. Has anyone found a decent, light dust cover for use in the garage, thus, doesn't need to be water proof, but would be nice if light and doesn't need tie down straps?? Thanks.

I have a universal car cover that fits over the car but only use it when storing for the winter. I keep a california car duster on the wall of the garage and use it before taking the car out. Only takes a few moments to dust the car.

I filled up today for 6.29/gal for premium, at Costco. The street price is closer to $7.00/gal in northern CA for premium! I've been driving less to conserve fuel, but judging from the amount of traffic every day, all hours, most people aren't.

I use the original California Car Duster and just wipe the SC down before I take her out

I cleaned up all my wiring for the Android Radio HU and Android Nav HU from last year... what was meant to be temporary ended up being permanent. Extended all RCA Connectors and routed all cabling to the area beneath the radio.. much cleaner, and houses all the adapters/modules to do Custom SWC / Rear Cam / Dash Cam / AMP Stuff / Wireless/Wired CarPlay/Android Auto.

But now I found out my NAV Tilt stopped working with all my tinkering, so have to take it all apart again to see if it was motor .

Bought an SC 430 specific sun shade for my 03. First time I used it the mirror came off and was dangling by the wires. Seems that the PO had windshield replaced and the tech didn't fully seat the mirror during reassembly. Ordered a new retainer (looks like a spider) did the disassembly and reassembly as described in this forum. All well, mirror nice and tight.

Test drove and struck a deal on my new '03 SC 430. Pick it up tomorrow.
