It will work either way, but it is always best to polish the headlights before coating.

daddio, yes, as its name, this spray is not a headlights polisher. It will not remove the haze but coat a thin layer of protectant to protect the headlights from UV damage.

[QUOTE=doobs;11530712]Just out of curiosity, why these over the MeisterR ZetaCRD unit?

actually these didn't even come up in conversation. I started to look around & a few brands that I looked into came up on the Redline360 site. I talked to one of the guys there & another company about what I was looking for (options, price range,etc...) & these kept being their top choice.

Default pulled the power plug to my antenna

club lexus comes through again!
after three years, i finally got around to it this morning. it took about an hour.

i don’t listen to the radio and i prefer the cleaner look with the antenna down anyway.

partial removal of trunk liner was required to expose the antenna motor and then i just unplugged the power cable. no damage and if necesssry i can just plug it back in for original functionality.

got all the info i needed from the forum, just had to search for it.

Well not today, but a couple days ago... I replaced a damaged package shelf and while I was at it I lubricated all the workings for my power top.

Default Busy couple of days

Timing belt/water pump/tensioners/drive belt today. My guy said the water pump was leaking so catastrophe avoided.
Adjusted the spacer below the package shelf, back seat rattle now gone.
Detailed the front seats with 2 step Lexol, they look great.

Motor mounts still to do and an alignment & wheel balance to hopefully get rid of the 55 shimmy.

Toyota/Lexus water pumps are designed to weep a small amount of fluid to keep the seal lubricated where it mates with the shaft. Because of this, the engineers design their water pumps with a path for the seepage to flow down and out of the way of any parts that could otherwise be contaminated. Oftentimes, people (even mechanics) replacing water pumps will report the part was leaking, while it may only have been weeping or seeping as designed.

I'm not contradicting your mechanic because I didn't see the "leak" myself. I'm only suggesting he might not be aware of the intent of the designers, so, may have wrongly reported the leak.

Thanks for that info. Hopefully I won’t have to worry about the water pump again. This was the initial TBWP service on my 06 with 48k.

Replaced the struts on my trunk lid, although I think it was unnecessary as there was no change in operation. Oh well.

Just recently got new Bridgestone Blizzaks installed at Costco and replaced my old TSW center caps with Lexus center caps. 62 mm was a perfect fit. Ready for winter.
