Just recently got new Bridgestone Blizzaks installed at Costco and replaced my old TSW center caps with Lexus center caps. 62 mm was a perfect fit. Ready for winter.
Replaced the struts on my trunk lid, although I think it was unnecessary as there was no change in operation. Oh well.
I found the same thing when I replaced mine, after purchasing my 8-year-old 2008. I expected the trunk lid to raise with much less effort after installing new struts, but no. I do believe the lid pops up a little bit higher upon pressing the release, but not much. So, the take-away is...don't replace your struts unless the lid won't stay in the upper-most position without sagging.
My guess is the convertible hard top folding/storage operation requires a strut that is relatively neutral in strength. The good news is we get to work out our biceps, reducing curling reps at the gym!

I was thinking the same about the hardtop mechanism maybe needing the neutral struts for the way it works. You hit the trunk button on my wife's Charger and it pops fully open which is nice, but it doesn't have the nice retractable roof either.
i didn't have to remove the motor, only mast. After leaving the carwash the extended antenna mast was "flying at half mast". Removing the lock nut and extending the antenna fully was all it took, the bent mast pulled right out. I fed the the new nylon cable and mast back in and turned off the radio. The motor sucked in the cable and then lowered the mast. There was no work in the trunk to do.

So you were able to measure the new plastic portion against the old and both were the same length? That's very lucky indeed. I wasn't that lucky but 2 hours later it was all fixed.
The hardest part is removing the two covers underneath to get to the three drain ***** (radiator and two block drains). There is a couple dozen screws that have to be removed, plus, 5 hideous plastic fasteners. I'm sorry, but I think Toyota/Lexus engineers could have done better in this regard!
It took the amount of expensive pink coolant specified in the manual, about 10 qts, and it was easy to bleed out the air, unlike some engines. While the pink coolant ain't cheap, it can last for 5 years/60,000 miles!
New to the party here with my recently purchased 2005.
Replaced the antenna (it wasn't broken...just didn't like the up and down experience).
Shampooed the driver's floor mat -- if it turns out well -- will do the passenger later.
Removed the dealer decal with my wife's hair dryer
Replaced the trunk lift shocks -- very easy
Getting the oil changed tomorrow and having the dealer give it a "once over"
Plans include: Window tinting and new rims
Just changed my ECT engine coolant sensor. Wasn’t trying to fix any particular problem but it was on my someday list. I had read that it improves fuel economy (which makes sense to me) and throttle response (which I am a little skeptical about but happy to be wrong). We shall see. One thing I never found explicitly stated in posts about changing it was whether to expect any coolant loss. I certainly did not lose any when I removed the sensor on a cold engine. Also, the oem sensor does not come with a replacement crush washer (but it seems like after market ones do) so if going oem, order one of those unless you want to risk reusing the old one.
