I purchased it at the Batteries Plus store in Rogers AR. It listed for $259.99 and I was out the door for $241.49. I have one in my 2010 LS 460L as well. My son put one in his 2005 SC 430 as well. When I bought the SC back in Dec 2018 It had this battery which was new in Jan 2018. I thought 6 years was a nice long period of time.
Began process of replacing right front marker bulb on my 03. gained access through inner fender plastic panel. Ordered replacement fasteners on Ebay as a few got trashed during removal. Going with a standard bulb. Sure beats removing the front bumper !
Yes, six years is a respectful life span for a vehicle battery! My Interstate AGM lasted five years in my SC.
The longest I ever got on a vehicle battery was 12 years in my 2001 Tundra. The stock Toyota battery was part of a package that gave me a bigger battery, and I was shocked when it lasted this long, as five years is more typical for stock battery. All that said, the weather and miles-driven history are huge factors in battery life.

Last weekend I installed scmods backup camera and Bluetooth mod. Really happy with them for the price, took about 1-1/2 hours to install and setup. Next up is new summer tires and wheels, new struts, and front control arms.
Having purchased my 2007 Sc430 (ex JDM) car in Dec 2023 I sent the car for a comprehensive service this week new filters, oil etc. The workshop put the car up on the hoist and invited me come inspect the underneath of the car - Although I had a pre-purchase inspection, which the car flew through, I had not had the opportunity to eye-ball the underneath myself. I was thrilled to see that there were no signs of any oil leaks (ever), no rust of any description (apart from surface rust on the exhaust pipe). The workshop took the car for a test drive on the motorway/freeway and the head mechanic reported - my god as great as a Ferrari!
Next up is to install the SCMODS back-up camera and Bluetooth kits. I am not inclined to do this sort of work myself, so the car is being sent to the auto electrician to fit these items plus a set of DRL (being JDM this was not a standard feature). One or two small, annoying dents on the bonnet / hood will be attended to by a local 'dentologist' - then the car will be near perfect in my opinion.
Over the last week I drove to Boise to my son’s shop. We replaced struts all around, front upper control arms, #2 front arm, lower ball joint, outer tie rods. Then put on new wheels and tires! Made a HUGE difference in ride. Old struts had no rebound, could collapse them with two fingers. All the rubbers were cracked and oozing grease. Rubber on the #2 arm was almost split completely through. 173,000 miles on potholed roads had taken their toll! Other than struts all parts were oem, put KYB on the front, Gabriel on rear. Next up is new brakes, they are shuddering badly at highway speeds. PO claimed he had them done at 165k, but there are obvious hot spots on the rotors, doesn’t appear they were bedded correctly.
