Used the Navtool and installed a backup camera today. Found one I liked that is almost invisible. Not too much trouble to put it in if you've ever done anything like this before. Only thing I would say is that NAVTOOL has modified their design and the instructions that came with it are still for the old design. Took about 4 hour start to finish. Nice result though.

I unplugged my TPMS and put this in my lighter socket. It beeps if a tire is low so I usually just shut the ashtray door and forget about it. The batteries are replaceable in each sensor. This display is kinda dim when the unit is on standby but it gets brighter when pressing the button on its side and on startup. Okay for $99 and I know which tire is low!

...hey Bon I like that setup, so does the display plug into the cigarette lighter or is that just where you store it?....also do you have a link for purchasing?

It plugs in and fits like it was made for it. I got mine on Amazon. It comes with a bunch of locking hardware to keep the sensors from being stolen but I didn't use any of it. I just screwed them on like valve stem caps and was done with it. : https://www.amazon.com/dp/B012AEFDSC...ing=UTF8&psc=1

That is an awesome solution to our system. Can you supply the link from which you purchased?

Thanks, but I really do like how this one fits perfectly into the lighter/ash tray console and still allows it to close.

By the way, the display is trans-reflective which means that it is backlit but also easily viewed when the sun shines directly on it. Helpful when the top is down.

This certainly seems like an amazing, relatively low-cost solution to the aging/failing SC430 TPMS systems (batteries in the sensors die after 8-10 years typically, and are very expensive to replace/program). I really like being able to see the actual tire pressure for each tire, rather than our current "dumb" system that just tells you when one of the tires is low (but doesn't tell you which one).

I'd like to hear from anyone who has been using this system for a while to make sure it will hold up over the long term, otherwise, it does look pretty appealing!

It would really be cool if they could make the ash tray device to read the Existing TPMS sensors.

i do wonder if the OBDII devices that talk to your phone app will display the tire pressure.

these TPMS sensors measure the tire pressure and the temperature.

hey Bgw,none of the iOS apps I've used will read the tpms module. Not even a option on them. I use the ip ad on a mount. So I can have live data/full gauges. Engine, and trans live data, and as far as body only fault codes.
